Awards and Honours

CREST GOLD
The CREST Gold Award, given by the British Science Association, recognizes exceptional scientific research and innovation among young scientists.

INNOVATE AWARD - FIRST TECH CHALLENGE
The FIRST Tech Challenge is an annual robotics competition that inspires students to design, build, and program robots to tackle various challenges, promoting teamwork and innovation. I received the runners-up Innovate Award for my robot, themed "Center Stage," which could grab pixels, hang from a bar, and launch a drone for points, demonstrating my technical abilities. Furthermore, I visited Sanshil and Smile Foundation to advocate for STEM education and met professors from IIT Delhi, gaining expert insights on our robot. I was mentored by Dr. Nischal, a professor at Aditya School of Business Management, post-doc from IIT Bombay, which provided me with valuable knowledge in advanced engineering and research.

MERIT for Preliminary Discovery
The Astro Hunt program, organized by the International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC) in partnership with NASA, encourages students and amateur astronomers to participate in asteroid discovery. Through this program, I learned to analyze astronomical data using specialized tools, contributing to important scientific research. I am proud to have earned merit for a preliminary discovery, which reflects my commitment to expanding our understanding of celestial phenomena. This experience not only deepened my knowledge of astronomy but also allowed me to make a meaningful impact in the field of astrophysics.

SECOND POSITION - NSS IIT Delhi SHADES OF EARTH
I participated in the Shades of Earth competition organized as a part of the National Service Scheme at IIT Delhi, where I secured the second position. This competition focused on promoting environmental awareness and sustainability through various activities and projects. My contribution involved developing a project that highlighted innovative solutions for ecological challenges, showcasing my research and creativity. The recognition I received not only validated my efforts but also inspired me to continue advocating for environmental sustainability and engaging in similar initiatives. This experience reinforced my commitment to addressing pressing environmental issues and making a positive impact within my community.

FIRST POSITION - TECH OLYMPUS HACKATHON
I developed an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) that secured the top position in the Tech Olympus Hackathon hosted by RFL. My system integrated an ultrasonic object proximity sensor, a driver drowsiness detection system using a Raspberry Pi, and temperature and humidity sensing with a DHT sensor. This innovative project aimed to enhance road safety by keeping drivers alert and aware of their surroundings. Winning first place reaffirmed my passion for engineering solutions that positively impact society.

PRESENTER - INNOSPHERE CONFERENCE BY SIGMAXI
I had the incredible opportunity to present my research paper, 'Towards Zero Accidents: Analysis of Advanced Technologies Enabling Safe Roads' at the Innosphere Conference 2024 organized by SigmaXi. The research delves into the integration of cutting-edge technologies that have the potential to drastically reduce road accidents and enhance safety on a global scale.
